A Christian County drag racer finished fourth in the Western Kentucky Corvette Club drag races Sunday at the Brandon and Brandon Drag Strip.
John Heisler, of Christian County, drove his burgundy 2000 coupe to a fourth-place finish, losing to eventual undefeated champion Larry Hall, of Nashville, Tenn., at the drag strip located off the Edwards Mill Road.

Twenty-two cars competed in the second annual event. Also in the semifinals with Hall and Heisler were Carolyn Davis, of Central City, and Julie Gibbs, of Grand Rivers.

Davis drove a 1957 convertible and Gibbs drove a 1997 coupe.
